Nas' album is almost complete street grit and Boom Bap. His lyrics are hard, clear, and deadly, but as an album it wasn't diverse. Biggie had songs for the club, songs for the ladies, stories and NY street music. I'll even say Illmatic had better production, but Ready to Die is just a more well rounded record.
